Like I said before, Wonder Woman is nothing like an MCU movie. It if were, then there would've been plenty of jokes and 1-liners about the injured soldiers with amputated limbs and the women and children killed by poisonous gas. Fortunately, Wonder Woman doesn't treat war and people getting killed as a joke, like MCU movies do. It's actually MCU that tried to create a DC movie with Black Panther by trying to make it a serious movie.

WW has been likened to CATFA and the first Thor movie. I don't recall any jokes regarding injured soldiers with amputated limbs in those movies either.
