Caught this one for the first time ever. Thought it was pretty good, definitely a typical Coen Brothers film with the usual amount of quirkiness and an array of colorful and eccentric characters. Lots of dark humor, to boot. One thing I found puzzling was the USO dance scene; it just seemed tacked on and out of place with the rest of the movie.
Terrific performances all around, but I have to say that John Goodman steals the show.
