Should kids & family movies have gay characters?

That's the typical and sad liberal response. I know for a fact, since I studied genetics, that there is no gay gene. If it were natural for a person to be born gay, then why would they not be able to procreate at all except with someone of the OPPOSITE sex? It goes against nature in every way possible.
Show me this 'science of the Universe' that proves people are born gay. We aren't talking about animals that can alter their sex in order to perpetuate species. We are talking about men and women who are born as males and females and are therefore not able to perpetuate the species, which is what ALL living organisms are geared to do.

The science is there. Go look it up. The human genome has been mapped and there is no gay gene.
Being gay is a product of environment and upbringing, which should be obvious to everyone with half a brain. We do not know what happens in a person's life to cause attraction to the same sex. It could be one thing or many. But we do know that no one is born gay.
