A/some X-men fans belief that MCU will ruin X-Men is hilarious. Based on nothing other than some odd perception that the franchise is the pinnacle of CBM movies that can be nothing but worse in another's (yet still Marvel's!) hands. There were some great X-Men films...but Jesus there were some real stinkers as well. All of the X-Men properties have better reception than Iron Fist and Inhumans. And Origins is only the only property that got significantly negative reaction, but was still better than those two. Iron Fist was disliked for political reasons, and Inhumans suffered from NO ONE involved actually wanting to make it. Going by movies alone, the MCU still wins. |
