OK then...if they had white actors playing an Oriental role then you can call it "whitewashing". But they didn't. No. Tilda Swinton didn't play an "Oriental". She played a Celt. And neither is Mandarin. He's half English, half Mongolion OK...so you seem to have an issue with Whitewashing then (despite the two examples you give are not or debateable). So do you also have a problem with... Agent Zero in Wolverine...a German/American character played by an Asian actor Deadshot in Suicide Squad...a white character played by an African/America Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins...an Arab character played by an Irish man Thinderbird in Gifted...Native American played by a caucasian Sunspot in New Mutants...Afro Brazilian played by a white Brazilian?
