Well, I don't think 'Man of Steel', 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' and 'Justice League' are horrible films and I laugh when I see people calling them the worst movies of all time 'cause they haven't watched many films and if they watch a movie like 'Head of the House' they might reconsider that
but I just found them to be disappointing and not as good as they could have been. 'Wonder Woman' has been the best movie in the DCEU so far in my opinion and I would say 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' was the worst 'cause there were a lot of things I didn't like about that movie and I thought it was a mistake to put Batman and Superman in a movie together before they had a solo Batman movie. I blame Warner Bros for a lot of the problems too and going back to 'Batman and Robin' a lot of the problems with that movie were 'cause of Warner Bros and if Joel had gone through with 'Batman Triumphant' (which was the script they used for the 'Arkham Knight' game) I think the original 'Batman' franchise would have lasted longer but Warner Bros wanted him to make everything light and comical for children and what we got was awful. I think they should make the DCEU a part of New Line Cinema and put the people in charge of that in charge of the DCEU. They seem to be going a lot better with their movies and could make good DC movies. I thought Batman Forever was still all right mostly. It wasn't as dark as Returns but wasn't as over the top as Batman and Robin. In the end, the decision to make the films lighter was to sell more merchandise, and they ended up killing the franchise till the Nolan trilogy.
RE Batman Triumphant. The film was cancelled following the critical and fan backlash over Batman and Robin. Schumacher actually called it Batman Unchained and he doesn't know why it's become known as Triumphant.
Batman Triumphant would have been an interesting film (whether it would be good or bad is another matter). Schumacher wanted Nicholas Cage to portray Scarecrow. Harley Quinn was to be played by Courtney Love or Madonna and she was a toymaker who'd find out the Joker was her father. Scarecrow would develop a toxin that would force Batman to relive all his fears and guilt, so it was going to be dark.

I checked New Line Cinema and yeah, they got an impressive resume. But it's not going to do a lot of good if the studio keeps interfering.
Yeah. 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' was very disappointing and I was expecting it to be a better movie too but it was far from being the worst movie of all time and there have been far worse comic book movies in the past 30 years. There were a lot of rumours about 'Dawn of Justice' before it came out and people were leaking information about the movie on sites like Reddit that turned out to be untrue like Batgirl and Nightwing being in the movie and Batman and Nightwing having to work together after not talking to each other for over a decade and it is hard to believe all those people that leak things like that 'cause so many of them turn out to be untrue. I remember somebody went to all the trouble of writing 10 full pages about 'Arkham Knight' before the game came out and had the 'Suicide Squad' in it and the Arkham Knight turning out to be Damian Wayne and none of it was true and you wonder why people waste to much time making up things like that. The thing about 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' though is the hate for it was very rampant before the movie even came out just like 'Man of Steel' and there were threads on the board calling it the worst movie ever made months before the movie was in cinemas and it was kinda similar with 'Wonder Woman' with many people saying it was going to flop harder than Ghostbusters (2016) and the end of the DCEU but there an additional hate for that having a female superhero as lead.
The trailer did promise a lot of things that didn't happen and the 'Justice League' trailer was similar and there was a scene in the trailer of 'Justice League' that didn't make the final movie that people were saying was Supergirl or Green Lantern and if it was one of those two they were taken out of the movie but it looks unlikely now. I liked 'Batman Forever' too and that was very successful here (along with the soundtrack which had Seal's 'Kiss From A Rose' and 'U2's 'Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me') when it first came out and a lot of people were calling it the best 'Batman' movie ever made but after 'Batman & Robin' flopped a lot of fans turned on both of them. Some interesting things I read about those movies are the original choice to play Batman in 'Batman and Robin' was Arnold but Arnold wanted to play a villain for a change after always playing the hero and Drew Barrymore was originally Joel's pick to play Batgirl but he didn't know if they would get a chance to have Batgirl in a movie and gave her another role instead. I don't think Arnold could have worked as Batman unless he used a voicebox 'cause there is no way people couldn't pick him with his voice and know he is Bruce Wayne 'cause he has a unique voice that stands out.

Thanks for sharing that about 'Batman Triumphant.' I heard a few things about that and Jason Todd was rumoured to make his first appearance in it and Dick Grayson was going to leave at the end 'cause they had a 'Nightwing' solo movie set up that I think was going to lead to 'Titans' if it had been successful. I liked 'Arkham Knight' and I thought they focused a little too much on the Batmobile and the identity of the Arkham Knight was predictable but I think that could have made a good movie and I loved their version of the Scarecrow with the disfigured face and John Noble playing the voice and that is the Scarecrow they should use in movies.
