It's not a grey area and it's not a victimless crime.
When you pirate somebody's music/movie/book/work, you're literally stealing it. You're not paying the money and therefore the artists don't get any money/royalties from it.
It any case, I'm done going around in circles with you on this. The fact that people were so fooled by a blatant publicity stunt is just downright embarrassing....
