what about Netflix though since it's a flat monthly fee and you can watch a lot of stuff. i can't see how people make much $$$ from that stuff either but yet it's legal. piracy is just a better alternative to that basically.
but look at it this way... looking strictly at myself, i know for a fact that had i not been able to pirate the movies i see, a good portion of them i never would have seen. hence, no $$$ loses there. sure, in some cases i might have spent some $$$ though so ill give you this much.
p.s. i heard the artist barely get any $$$ from music CD purchases (i heard they make the bulk of their money from touring) which likely just goes to those greedy execs who already making a ton of $$$ anyways. i don't think anyone is going to feel sorry for someone making millions already. piracy just does not feel like legit stealing at the end of the day since it's all digital stuff and not something physical.
well any gay agenda stuff in a kids movie just sounds like a immoral thing in general as they are kids and don't need to their moral compass corrupted etc. so it's not surprising people are going to rise up against it. but i imagine from their perspective they probably don't care because it draws attention to it which they only see $$$ i imagine.

When you pirate somebody's music/movie/book/work, you're literally stealing it. You're not paying the money and therefore the artists don't get any money/royalties from it.

The fact that people were so fooled by a blatant publicity stunt is just downright embarrassing
