What is it about MCU fans specifically that makes them so intolerant of dissenting viewpoints?! I've honestly never seen anything like it in any fandom online. Ever. The fanatical, zealous desire to eradicate all critical opinion ever expressed in words about the glorious MCU so that your eyes might not even accidentally stray across them -- good GRIEF.
I mean. There's plenty of cults already out there.
Not easy to not read them when something like 7 out of 10 posts are troll posts. It's literally impossible to follow discussions here without reading troll posts.
But how are you defining "troll" in this context? Anyone who isn't overwhelming and effusive in their praise of the MCU?
ETA: for instance: in a thread in which five out of ten people express the belief that the (set design, dialogue, etc) for a particular movie could've been better. Are they "trolls"? Is the thread "50%" troll posts?
