The 3rd(?) wife of Vincent Price? That Coral Browne??? Yikes. It is filmed in a pernicious manner, making Browne appear quite sinister. The older woman, who has her own self-serving agenda and the passive villain of the piece, who gets what she wanted all along. It was also a very daring and even provocative scene and raised many eyebrows for it's time. Today, it is still a potent scene. |
