Venom himself looks great, far better than the Spider-man 3 one and he the way he talks also makes him seem more comic accurate.
As for the rest of the movie itself....we'll see. Not too impressed but you never know. I wasn't that impressed with the Deadpool trailers and really enjoyed that.
Tom Hardy's voice and mannerisms in this trailer and in the teaser are inexplicably more douchey and annoying than Topher Grace's version from SM3 ( and i hated Grace as Venom in that movie). The Symbiote's voice is better than Hardy's own character voice though. But like SM3 the movement of the symbiote is too rough and lumpy looking instead of the smooth, fluid and slick look of the Venom Symbiote in the comics, and the eye patches are too small
And why is there so much emphasis on Car/Vehicle Chases and such in a Venom movie???
CG is still getting worked on, for a film 6 months away from release the CG looks pretty good to me, as for the chase scenes it looks like it's from the first act or first half of the film culminating in Brock & Venom forming a sort of agreement to work as one for the "We are Venom" moment at the end which may also be because they haven't got the rest of the Venom stuff looking passable yet.
Disagree about Hardy's voice & mannerism's Grace was an obvious creep pos from the get go in Spider-Man 3, but each their own I guess.
