I really liked it. It was surprisingly my first viewing and I can already tell (like all great mysteries) that multiple viewings are required. Freeman gives a great performance and the cinematography and set design is remarkable. My only real beef with it is that I don't think Brad Pitt was the right choice for Mills. He did good in every scene except the ones it felt like he needed to dig deep on. It really is a great movie overall, though. All the actors give great performances but the standout is honestly the guy who was forced to rape that poor woman in the lust sin. The interview is so chilling and the acting is phenomenal (idek the actors name nor have I seen him in anything else). Agreed, he really did a great job. On the IMDb Trivia for the movie it says he stayed up for several days in advance to look drained and confused and then started purposely breathing quickly just before the camera rolled so it looked and sounded as if he was hyperventilating. Fincher is able to pull great performances from actors all the time, and it's impressive. I remember him from a small role he had in Saving Private Ryan, but I don't think I've seen him in anything else.
