Over 30yrs ago, when Spacey wasn't even on the radar. The accusation understandably has had a rippling effect, though I am not sure if the actor who came forward with the claim, was fully aware of the implications\consequences of outing Spacey. I wonder if he now feels in hindsight, it it was worth it for him and serious enough to make a deal about it, considering it is also a 3 decade old historical allegation, to railroad Spacey's career? The answer may easily be "no" for us - but we should just think of the trauma and sense of insecurity imposed on the young boy, and the years later when he grows up. I think it is unfair that he should have considered Spacey's current reputation when it was Spacey who decided to sexually harass him, a young boy. Also, the allegations of sexual harassment continues to recent years - just at the theater where Spacey works in - there have been 20 allegations spanning two decades. The young boy, is now a grown man approaching 50, and while one can't lay claim to how someone else might feel about something, as far as I'm concerned, this man who has had an ok acting career himself— how traumatized is he really?—appears to have also been caught up in the wave of me too hysteria. It doesn't sound like a majorly serious violation and we don't know his friends or connections who could have influenced him. Quite frankly though, I feel he has been operating from a victim mentality mode, and perhaps even one of revenge. As for the other accusations against Spacey, perhaps more bulls<>t. Can't anyone make a pass at anyone else anymore without being railroaded, especially if they are famous? I don't do self-pity or buy into the victim mode that well, and I think some things are not even worth mentioning to the media or the police. They don't give a s<>t either, it's just a vocation for them.
