Well, that was uncalled for. Wait, no it wasn't. What were they going to do with Kizer? He's not a bridge QB, that's Tyrod Taylor. They never should have drafted him. You have to have mental issues to draft a Notre Dame QB. The Browns do have the opportunity to "redshirt" whoever they draft. Face it, if the team goes 6-10, Clevelanders will be dancing in the streets. And Tyrod could engineer that. If I'm the Browns and I'm not 100% sure their pick can handle being under the spotlight on Opening Day, I'm starting Tyrod. Like the Rams did with Jared Goff. He played, a lot more than Pat Mahomes. But he was still not the focus. And I remember articles saying that Goff was "the biggest bust in Draft History". And he will get more than one season. Jamarcus got multiple chances. I can see them maybe going 6 - 10 if they use one of their picks on Barkley. A running back like that, it doesn't matter how shitty your QB is, at least if you have no real playoff expectations to begin with. 6 - 10 would be the Super Bowl for them. Saquon could make them 8-8. He's very capable of 2000+ total yards as a rookie. Tyrod isn't a stumblebum behind center. Jarvis Landry and Corey Coleman are good receivers. Myles Garrett will be a beast. The cupboard isn't bare. Add 2100 years of total offense, this team isn't bad. If I was the Brown, I'd have Saquon signed already.
