1. He opened a portal beneath Loki which after he fell through, he closed up.....so why not put a surprise portal beneath Thanos then close it when he's half way through it, cutting his body in half?
2. He created a portal and pushed it forward when sending Thor and Loki to Odin....so why not throw a portal at his arm?
There was a scene where they had him completely restrained for about a minute. Why didn't he throw a small portal at him to separate his brain or his head from the rest of his body?
