I…was expecting that reaction. It’s just one of those things that always escaped me, as I never had all that much interest in sci-fi. A slight interest was rekindled, though, when I started reading Joseph Campbell’s works in earnest…so I will actually break down and watch one.

I’ve seen Spaceballs, but I know that’s not an adequate penance, padre. Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa…
