So there's the original ones, 4-6. Then the prequels, which take place 32, 22, and 19 years prior to 4. And then the sequels, which both take place 30 years after 6.

There's two ways you could go about it, in my view:

-- 4-6, then 1-3 (7-8 optional)
-- 4-5, then 1-3, then 6 (7-8 optional)
