Anyway, I googled "Christian Attack Central Africa", and the first hit was this one:

So the latest attack (assuming the reports are correct) is probably just a link in a long chain.
Maybe calling places like Central Africa "Openings for defecation" (to paraphrase the current POTUS) is not that wrong after all..

Be that as it may I managed to do some background checking and discovered this being a case of civil war infighting between rival factions, namely the Muslim Seleka vs the “Christian” Anti-Balaka vigilante group. It should be noted though that just like the crusades it’s Christians retailiating to initial Muslim attacks when the Seleka seized power in Bangui in 2013.
