It's way too hard even when there was an easy setting. When I get really stuck, I watch a game play video on Youtube to find out the next move I need to make, but it IS damn hard still. It's pretty mind boggling to think some kids were able to beat this game in the arcades. There is a combination of agony and ecstasy to Space Ace and Dragon's Lair unlike any other video game. For me, the animation is so superb it's worth immersing myself in and the pure nostalgia is "off the charts." These classic laserdisc games are truly a different kind of gaming experience. It took me 10 bucks of quarters to get past the opening spaceship scene and then I never got past the planet landing. I gave up and worked on my Ms. Pac-Man skills. |
