Speaking of film titles as non sequiturs....
As a real-life version of The Man from Colorado..... whose dad was once The Sheepman.......
I have to say that we are have The Big Heat today where I live now.
In fact, it is SO hot it feels like the Plunder of the Sun, but thanks to A/C I have not been driven into a Rage yet...
By the way, does anyone know where I can find a film version of Jack London's The Adventures of Martin Eden?

Good luck finding MARTIN EDEN, Kijii. I managed to obtain a bootleg version about ten years ago that was in terrible shape. Too bad -- Glenn made a credible Jack London protagonist.
He romanced two dolls in that one -- Claire Trevor and Evelyn Keyes. That was three times around with Claire (TEXAS, EDEN, DESPERADOES). He was then in his mid-20s for those trio of movies, and a more mature Claire seemed out of his league.
Now Evelyn -- that's a different story. Even more than Rita (5 films), Keyes was his most frequent co-star (6 films). He and Rita were Columbia's hot couple while he and Evelyn were the studio's cute couple. They were actually siblings in their first -- LADY IN QUESTION (Rita was the eventual love interest), but romantically involved in the remaining five -- EDEN, FLIGHT LIEUTENANT (Pat O'Brien played his dad, and would introduce him to future wife Eleanor Powell), DESPERADOES, MATING OF MILLIE, MR. SOFT TOUCH.
I think I worked fairly hard to find it. I finally bought it from e-bay, but I think it may have been bootlegged since I can't find it anywhere else.
I often wonder if Gladys George with back-to-back leading roles might have been something more than a one-liner in various film noirs.
Maybe she didn't have a good agent or was just a two-film wonder.
She also might not have been right for the time.........
