Some people just want to watch the world burn.
I mean I want it to be good, but I don't think it will be. They've not been lucky with sequels (I liked T3, hated Salvation, and kind of enjoyed Genysis). The timeline is super complicated now and I hope whatever story they've come up with can either make sense within it or dismiss it entirely and obviously. Still...just...man, how about something new? Even in the same universe.
"Creed" did this fairly well I thought...how about a Reese movie? Or a weird art house flick that focuses on the woman who was crying in front of the burning TV from T2? Or a rom-com about Todd and Janelle from T2? Or a "Big Lebowski" style character study on the homeless man who just wanted his pants back.
