I personally dont think it matters. What matters is can their stories be good after so many reboots on film and in the comics.
I dont follow spider man in the comics like many on here do, but on film at least spider man is still interesting when done correctly. Sure there was a gap in the quality of films for that series, but it appears the character is back on solid ground.
Batman has a deep history of appearing in classics takes on the character decade after decade. Whether it be comics, movies, animation, or games.
Batman probably wins this contest of oversaturation, but does it really matter since the quality is for the most part good?
