Not just female. White female. Just look at the Star Wars female leads under Kennedy:    Whoops, my bad. KK isn't a feminist. She's a narcissist. Yup. Kathleen Kennedy is a narcissist who plays it safe. Every Disney Star Wars female lead is a posh white brunette. Every Disney Star Wars film continues to star white protagonists. All the Disney Star Wars films continue to only use white male writers and directors, including the replacements. |
