personally... i just can't see that series returning to the level of praise/popularity that the first two movies had. if it does ill be surprised.

I thought T3 was great, minus about 15 minutes at the start of the film.
Yeah, it's actually my 2nd favorite of the series behind the first movie and within my Top 61 movies in general. definitely quite underrated to say the least.

T3 is my favorite of them all.
Seriously? ; but assuming your serious... while i think it's quite underrated, it's not quite my favorite even though it's close as i prefer the series like this...
1.T1 - 8.5-9/10 (within my Top 29 movies)
2.T3 - 8/10 (within my Top 61 movies)
3.T5 - 6-6.5/10 (within my Top 244 movies)
4.T2 - 6/10 (this used to be a 10/10 for me but i simply do not enjoy it as much as i once did as it went from a 10 to a 6 on July 3rd 2016 for me(i re-watched the first movie this same day and that remains top notch))
5.T4 - 5/10 (Thumbs Down)
in fact, T3 is only one of twenty movies that have a average score of 6.4/10 or less on IMDb that i scored a 7 or higher.
but it appears we are in the minority but i never heard someone make a claim it was their #1 movie of the Terminator franchise til now even though i have heard some people on the official IMDb forums a while ago say it's underrated etc.
