Whoops, my bad. KK isn't a feminist. She's a narcissist. Yup. Kathleen Kennedy is a narcissist who plays it safe. Every Disney Star Wars female lead is a posh white brunette. Every Disney Star Wars film continues to star white protagonists. All the Disney Star Wars films continue to only use white male writers and directors, including the replacements. To be fair, there are only two leads in total in the Disney Star Wars films. Not much of a sample yet. Solo doesn't count because it's an existing character. On the other hand, they have clearly made a concerted effort to fill the ranks of co-stars with non whites. |
