I’m not completely sure I agree, and I far prefer Superman Returns (as I wrote above, am I the only person who unapologetically loves the movie?), but I definitely agree with you that Cavill’s Clark needs a lot of work. They don’t spend much time with his Clark, though, do they? I think Snyder was too anxious to get to the Superman stuff to really bother with giving Clark a personality. And I'm a fan of Superman Returns as well. I wouldn't say I love it (I reserve that for the first Superman movie), but I certainly enjoy it more than Superman 3 or the DCEU Superman movies. Nah, Superman Returns is infamously shitty. |
