Good Stuff I Watched, Read, Heard, Or Played

I just finished watching Hey Hey It's Esther Blueburger. This wonderful 2008 Australian comedy drama was written and directed by Cathy Randall. The film stars the adorably charming Danielle Catanzariti as Esther Blueburger, a 13 year old Jewish girl who struggles to fit in at her private school. When she meets a cool girl from a public school, Esther decides to secretly attend her new friend's school and pose as a Swedish exchange student. Over the course of the film, Esther has to decide where she fits in and who she wants to be. I really enjoyed this movie. Danielle Catanzariti does a fantastic job in the lead role and the supporting cast, including Keisha Castle-Hughes and Toni Collette, are all great. The screenplay is really well written, funny, insightful, and smart. I rate Hey Hey It's Esther Blueburger an 8/10 and would recommend it.
