. IMPO - I don't think Night Court and Cheers
are suppose to be in the same league
. It seems to me both shows are quite different
and independent in it's own styles
especially in storylines and it's settings too
( of course a few characters may have some similar behaviors
but we usually can see that in most sitcoms just the same also -
a possible fixed formula ? )
. I also think the closest sitcom to Night Court in humor
would be more like Three's Company from 1977 to 1984
