Lol, my wish isn't to get an exception to the rule. My wish is for people of color to regularly get the same respect and representation white people do, in front of and behind the camera. Minorities are on their way to making up half of America. Ha, what if you get a whole trilogy that features nothing but black characters. Will you be appease with the SW team? What if it's a trilogy about Sith origins? Still count?  Ha ha, that'll probably be what happens. Just your luck. A trilogy isn't regular minority representation - it's a trilogy. I'm thinking long-term, like how white people have been well represented by Star Wars for decades. I'm not asking for all or even most of the characters to be minorities. And I'm referring to minorities in general, not just black people. |
