So the Mets get another catcher who can't stay healthy and the Reds get another starter who can't get anyone out. Bonus! How much are these GM's making? do 'fresh starts' ever work out in sports? i.e. 2nd chances and a change of scenery - but are there any examples recently of a player blossoming (in any sport) with a change of scenery in recent memory? Lost. Look at Gerrit Cole. I don't think moving to NY will make Punxsutawney's own Devin Mesorasco more healthy. He played in a mere 95 games from 2014 to 2017. Travis "Oh the Pain, the Pain" d'Arnaud has played more games. And playing for a team that's 8-27 and has an average home attendance of 57 will certainly help a player with a poor attitude.
