It has no downside. They'd get a proven winner as coach, and Pitino can't get in too much trouble for paying players in the NBA. If that doesn't happen, I'd love to see Rasheed Wallace as the coach. He was an assistant, and if nothing else, the press conferences would be entertaining. Tell that to Celtics fans. He handed out big money to Travis Knight! It was executive Pitino that got coach Pitino fired here. Yeah. I don't want him to be the President. We already went through that fiasco with van Gundy. |
