Jake Arrieta pitches a masterpiece, 7.2 IP, 5 hits, zero runs. Phillies phucked up closer throws a BP session and the Mets win. If I'm Jake Arrieta, I pound this ineffectual asshole after the game. Surprised this doesn't happen more.

next closer up please - don't care if you have to experiment with a starter who may have disappointed over the years (Vinny V) - and stick him in the closer role to see how it works - maybe he'll thrive in the role.

they're 22-16 and looking good - yeah - it's early but can't have your closer blowing games left and right .....
