Wasp seems the more polished character, one who takes what Ant-Man has accomplished & streamlined it. She'll probably see a lot more action ahead in the MCU.
I prefer & enjoy Scott's levity & sense of humour. It's a welcome dose for MCU on Earth.

And it would have been impossible to give Wasp the some levity and a sense of humour.
