When it comes to the foundation of the story: yes. When you change the foundation of what makes the characters who they are then everything falls apart. Or you could rewrite it... Yes, you could take Hope out all together. But then they needed a person to be on the inside of the company... And you also need a connection for Pym to have. And the movie was about fathers wanting to be with their daughters and not having that wife anymore. See what is happening here? Unraveling. |
