They were like Solo and Chewy until Groot died and Rocket took care of Groot's offspring. You have to remember that this isn't the same Groot. He didn't just regrow. Rocket planted a piece of him and made the son of Groot. When watching GotG2, you see that Rocket takes on more of the father role (theme of the movie) to baby Groot. Right, but I got the sense that they want everyone to think it's the same Groot but cuter, when in reality everyone in his race is Groot. Nope. |
