Right outside Boston proper. You know the area? Not super well. I love Braintree and Boston though.  I love New England too. I was born on Long Island, but it’s the North Shore of Long Island where everything is more New England-y—white-steepled old churches, harbor towns and half-Yankee accents (an old-time Long Island accent is closer to a Rhode Island accent than anything—“Boston by way of Brooklyn,” they call it. “Oh my Gawd, cawfee,” etc., was imported from New York in the ‘60s)—than New York-y. So when I came here I felt like I fit right in… I’m particularly fond of Mass’s North Shore—Marblehead, Cape Ann, Newburyport—and right up into New Hampshire’s tiny coastline. Great area.
