The Black Canary has taken down dozens of armed thugs by herself on many occasions and she was able to escape and still fight after she was tied up with two broken legs in ‘Birds of Prey: Of Like Minds” by breaking her thumbs. That is not even mentioning the caliber of the villains she has defeated on her own in the comic books and if Sara was on the same level as Dinah in the comic books she would have been able to take down Vandal Savage, Damian Dhark, Malcolm Merlyn, Reverse Flash, Mallus and other villains on ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ on her own. The Black Canary is also meant to be a LOT stronger which none of the Canaries have been portrayed as and her Canary Cry is meant to be around three hundred decibels which can "turn people into red smears and topple skyscrapers" which is why she doesn't use it as often as she could.

Too be fair Deb every superhero is underplayed in their live action adaptations because the comics go OTT on everyone, Superman's strong enough to move planets in some issues, Hulk can rip worlds in half, Batman can somehow survive against the likes of Superman, Wonder woman & Flash when shit goes sideways despite their being no hope in hell he could last more than 2 seconds against any of the JL's big guns.

I mean Batman is meant to be the worlds greatest detective & intimidating figure but in the best Batman films he's barely smart let alone a great detective and he's less threatening more laughable with that stupid voice bullshit, just gotta learn to appreciate what we get an not pine for what we want, unless it's stupid writing in which case moan like fuck I know I do.
