So then tell me why the NFL awards the Steelers a higher draft pick for having the worse season. By your logic, the SuperBowl winner should pick 32 and then the other 31 teams should be in a lottery with an equal number of chances to get the #1 pick.

The same comparison applies to sports.  When the Soviet ice hockey team came to Lake Placid in 1980 for the Winter Olympics, do you think there goal was to win the Silver medal?  Do you think those players on the Soviet team ever went back home and bragged to their neighbors and friends "We went to America for the Olympiscs and came back with a Silver medal"?  Do you think Brezhnev declared those players national heroes for coming back from America with a silver medal?  Only dumb Patriots fans think that losing a championship is something positive.  LOL!!!
