I can't take it.

I don't know who shows up that you need to watch the other shows to get in S4 of Arrow, most of the pop ins are pre-crossover to set up the Arrow side of LOT's roster, but they are all Arrow characters from previous seasons, except Constantine who until LOT S3 only appeared in Arrow out of these shows.

Yeah the fights were a major gripe of the Felicity years, they were in the show because they felt they needed to do them but clearly as they don't serve to benefit Felicity it's paint by numbers blegh just till they get back to her.

The dumbest thing is the set S4 of with the team unable to handle HIVE themselves so they go get Oliver, Oliver returns and they act like they don't need him, then the show specifically goes out of it's way to make Oliver seem inferior for back to back episodes for the next month making them needing him seem stupid.

Laurel fighting guys now has no reason not to make sense Oliver basically became a world class fighter between the S1 Flashback Finale and S2 Flashback premier which was 6 months, Laurel by midseason S4 has been training with a world champion boxer, LOA Elite, LOA Trainee, Ex special forces with 3 years if elite hand 2 hand training experience with a former LOA leader, and said former LOA leader and by the Arrowverse standards THE best fighter in their multiverse, so Laurel has no reason not to be taken seriously anymore than Thea or Oliver, but S3 fucked up the build so people have a bad taste in their mouths about it.
