Yeah the original is just hands and arms over the rest and by a landslide the best. Carrie 2 also wasn't as bad as I expected. Not that good, mind you, but okay.
I don't think Carrie 2 is anywhere near as bad as it's reputation, I enjoyed it far more than I thought. Definitely better than the rather forgettable 2013 remake, IMO.
I find part 2 and the 2013 remake to be about equal in quality, as in goodness, but I think I prefer part 2 too because it tried something new instead of just being a rehash of the original. Julianne Moore was great as the mother though, and Chloë Grace Moretz was serviceable enough as a Carrie White. |
