I agree that Trout and Ohtani would get an endless amount of attention if they were with the Yankees or an east coast team like them, but they are appreciated fairly well.
I don’t think Carlos Correa gets enough attention, he gets overshadowed by Altuve but he’s a brilliant player in his own right. And what about Khris Davis, he’s as big of a slugger as anyone but gets no attention because he plays for the A’s.
