Nah. Most over rated by who? By WWE? The IWC? Arena fans? And how do you guage? Shawn Michaels in '96 by in ring work was one of the best reigns ever. For character work it was terrible. It was absolutely ridiculous watching an arrogant unlikeable douche acting like a Bret Hart style white meat babyface. While the match quality was high, he made the shows borderline unwatchable with his "Boyhood Dream" schtick, which was exactly why everybody cheered Sid when he punched an old man and knocked Shawn out with a TV Camera to finish it. Over rated by WWE's narrative and in my opinion the fan base as I stated my reasonings. In regards to HBK. The only real argument I can see against him is that he wasn't as high of a draw as World Champion then when his character wasn't coming off as genuine. However, that can be said about anybody in pro wrestling. All the greats had a time when the crowd wasn't feeling them from the Hogan's, Rock's, Austin's so to me HBK's situation there was no different then what anyone else at the top eventually feels. Fans will always eventually hate a guy once they're the guy. Die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain and all.
