I believe it has escaped your attention that leadership is necessary even when one in ten thousand leaders proves unworthy of the task. It is just a shame that, very often these days, it cannot be found (at least in matters of child protection) from the one place one would most expect it. The point - still - is that one might reasonably expect any adherents of a moral religion or philosophy of life to lead by example, rather than being conspicuous by their hypocrisy, or at least be no better than any one else.
