Bear in mind that if Batman & Robin was a hit, this meant that we'd get Nicolas Cage as Superman. I actually like Cage but never would I cast him as Superman. Honestly, at the time, I think he'd have been a better fit for Batman. Then I'd probably cast someone like Billy Zane or Brendan Fraser as Superman. Yeah Cage wasn't a great choice. Interestingly enough I remember wanting John Cusack to be Superman in the 90s. |
