Is the first one any good? Sly and Ahnie in a movie together is something I've always wanted to see, but Escape Plan looked like too little too late.

I haven't seen the first one. I agree that they waited too long to be in a movie together. I was surprised to hear a sequel was being made since I didn't recall the first one being a major success or anything like that. But it made more sense when I found out it's direct-to-DVD.
