It's definitely not boring but the plot had advanced VERY little if any. We still have limited info on the characters and what we do have could very well be false. It seems like every few episodes is the exact same pointless arc that I won't spoil here. Although is it really spoiling since it's that lazy annoying unreliable narrator gimmick that somehow passes as "clever" writing these days?
It looks cool and it's not what anyone expecting a comic book TV show would expect a comic book TV show to be but that in no way makes it a "masterpiece". If you want to give it a lame tagline you could call it "Twin Peaks for comic book characters." And yes I know I paraphrased the idiotic tag Atlanta used for their meandering show.
I would say it's a lot more conducive to smoking a bowl or better yet dropping a hit than getting your drank on. That's a positive thing by the way in my opinion.
