I hope Venom succeeds. The fact is that no matter how many of Spiderman’s rogues gallery the MCU can accomodate it will only scratch the surface. There are many Spider-Man related characters who have comic titles where Spider-Man doesn’t even appear. They can do fine without Spider-Man. Bring on Venom and whatever comes next.
