At this point though an animated show or series of films would be great we could keep the actors who made their characters so great and no one needs to worry about having gotten older, plus they can just adapt and enhance the comics so like Buffy in animated form could have a 5 year run already set up, Angel would have a similar thing and we could get 1 off series like the Spike run and shit.
Plus I would think they would love to do this because they seem like a lot of them got along and liked one another so it would be a chance to work with each other again, still I wish we had gotten a Faith spin off, she was such a fun character.
Yeah. I think you are right Dazz but a number of actors and actresses like Sarah Michelle Gellar, Melissa Joan Hart and Tom Welling are often typecast when they play really popular roles in movies and TV shows and the same thing used to happen to a lot of actors who played superheroes in movies which is why actors like Bruce Willis, Jean Claude Van Dame, Steven Segal and Sylvester Stallone were all said to have turned down major superhero roles in the 90s like Batman. The weird thing about actresses like Sarah Michelle Gellar and Melissa Joan Hart is they were actually getting a number of roles in movies when 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' were on air and Sarah Michelle Gellar was in 'Cruel Intentions', 'Scream 2', 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', 'Scooby-Doo' and 'Simply Irresistible' when she was in 'Buffy' but the only big role she had after 'Buffy' was 'The Grudge' and I sometimes think she made the wrong decision quitting 'Buffy' to focus on her movie career 'cause if 'Supernatural' can pull off 14 Seasons like it is now 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' could have gone a lot longer too.
Out of the entire 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' cast the only ones I saw in a lot of roles after the show ended apart from David and Allyson were James Marsters, Seth Green and Eliza Dushku and Eliza is still acting now and is only 37 and I really think a 'Faith' spinoff TV show could still work now and it is not too late to do one. Eliza has said in interviews she would love to play Faith again and I like the idea of an adult slayer having to become a slayer again after Buffy and the others slayers disappear or are murdered. They could have some of the other 'Buffy' and 'Angel' characters make guest appearances and have her working with a human Spike. I think an animated show is more possible now with Joss returning to the 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' comic books and his return might make him want to do one.
