Most recently, "The Hostiles" which reminded me of the Wounded Knee massacre...
Many others...for instance, when I watched "The Longest Day" I searched out the splendid book of the same title which the movie was based on by Cornelius Ryan. The book has so much more than was included in the fine film.
I have still not seen The Longest Day but I did read the fine Cornelius Ryan book, which led me to read another of Ryan's books, A Bridge Too Far, which is an even more incredible book. And, no, I have not yet seen the film A Bridge Too Far yet, either.
