Most Australian take away shops do these. Hamburger with the lot. Outstanding. sweeet!!! looks like there's no rhyme or reason to the 'layering' concept there - but that's what a sloppy burger is all about This is the best photo for showing what’s on the burger, but it’s a terrible example as you point out on how to assemble it. Toasted Bun Thin spread of Butter, Sauce or Mayo Pickles (Optional) Tomato Beeroot (Purple Beets, and presliced from a can) Shredded Iceberg Pineapple Slice Grilled Onions and Sauce (BBQ or Tomato sauce) Bacon Fried Egg (Gooey yolk) Cheese Beef Patty Thin layer of Sauce (BBQ or Tomato) Bun For some reason though, it is common for Australians to put lettuce and tomato on the bottom and the bottom bun becomes a soggy watery mess. Likewise, many places refuse to melt the cheese, and put it with the cold section.
